Cruz Family.

Life is precious. Life is beautiful. Life is fast. Life should be shared with family.

In the last month we have been spending a lot of time with family. The last 4 years have been extremely busy, but definitely fun ;), but now its time to slow down a little and take in all that we can. We're still shooting maniacs ;) but in our downtime its all about who we are when we're with family.

A few weeks ago I got a phone call from the Hilton Clearwater asking us if we were available for a portrait session for a family who was on vacation. After talking a little more with the family I found out that their father had terminal brain cancer and that he wouldn't make it to the summer. So they wanted to make a final trip to Florida together. Wow. When John and I arrived I wasn't sure how I would be able to handle it, but the family was all smiles and you could really see the love that they had for each other. After the shoot it made me even more grateful for the decision that we've made to make more time for the people we love.
