Hello blog. Its been a while since we've chatted ;) I always promise to keep you updated, but then...life gets the best of me and I neglect you. These past few months have been a whirlwind since John and I found out we were pregnant. Sunday marked 32 weeks for me and we have 7-8 weeks left of just John and Kenzie :) But in reality, that time went out the door as of yesterday.

Yesterday was the last day of summer for John and myself :) This coming weekend is the start of the rest of our life. I know, I know, I'm being dramatic. But it sure feels that way :) It's time to embark on Fall Madness for the shores'. We've been anticipating this fall for some time now and here it is. This weekend is our baby shower, followed by touring the hospital (this is all becoming way too real!) Then we have multiple other baby showers to attend (I swear this is the new baby boomer year). My Stepdad turns 50 and there's a HUGE party for him, woot woot! John and I are in a wedding and did I mention that we're shooting all the way up until the weekend before I give birth? whew. I'm due on October 31st, but I think the weekend of October 17 (which is the weekend we're both in a wedding and shooting one) will be the weekend that puts me into labor, lol. I fully anticipate that on Monday, October 18th, I'll be heading to the hospital to meet our baby girl. Because after that, we have nothing else to do but wait for baby Harper to come :) right? lol. Lets just say that these next few months are going to feel like someone hit the fast forward button on our lives and I'll wake up the day after Christmas holding a baby, and wondering..."what just happened?" ;) I'll just have to remember what I tell my brides. This is all going to go very quickly, so take a deep breath and try to enjoy every single moment that is coming at you. Live in the moment. Dont get caught up on whats going to happen, but whats happening right now. :)

prayers are welcome, lol ;)

Below are just a few photos of Harpers Nursery. I love it, and if you know us, then you knew we couldn't just paint the room pink and call it a day. Nope, we had to go all out and possibly freak out our child, hahaha. The room is kinda small, so I used a fisheye lens to give you a fun perspective of the room :)

This was my old office/storage space right before we started painting :)

and now... Harper's room!

It isn't completely finished yet, we just moved in the furniture and hung a few things on the walls. but I wanted to give you an idea of what we've been up to :)

Well, here we go!
