before pictures.

Before I was taking the photos, I was in the photos. :) Back in 2001, waaaaayyyy before I ever knew I would become a photographer, I worked at the Radisson Hotel and Conference center, right here in Pinellas Park. I was one of the first front desk clerks ever hired at this hotel. It was completely finished in fall of 2001 and many memories were to follow. I loved working at the front desk and I had the opportunity to meet many famous people on a daily basis. There wasn't any time to be star struck, so it's hard for me to get all crazy when I see someone famous now, unless, of course it was Bette Midler or Madonna, lol. Anyway, I came across this photo today and I just thought it was hilarious. Yes, that is me behind the counter :) Mind you, it was REALLY early in the morning, I had no idea they were having a photo shoot, and the girl they had lined up for the shoot backed out. So, they used me, haha, I had my hair slicked back in a ponytail and no makeup, hahaha. I guess it's a good think you can't really see me! :) My grandmother has the brochure with this picture on it hanging next to her computer, so I see it often, but I guess I didn't realize they still used the same shot for advertising, :) You can see me a little better and closer on the actual brochure :)
